Third Post -- Day Six

 Caden Lane

I discovered a great website for mom and baby items, Caden Lane. We had a baby at work recently who had on the softest, sweetest little knot gown and cap. I commented on how soft it was, and one of the nurses, who was also in the room at the time said that she had some like it for her younger son. Neither she nor baby's mom could remember what the material was or the manufacturer, and I didn't want to disturb baby by looking at the tag lol. But I remembered the three big, wood buttons down the front of the gown.

After we had the gender reveal -- more on that later -- Eler Beth spent two days putting together her Baby List registry, and I googled something like "baby gowns wooden buttons soft fabric" and Caden Lane came up. I saw gowns that looked like the one I had seen, and the fabric was bamboo, so I'm pretty sure that was it. Whether it was or not, I really liked their items and I know that bamboo fabric is very soft. So I added a few things to Eler Beth's baby list and then promptly bought one of them. It came in today, and it is the sweetest, softest thing.

Many of the colors of their items match or are very close to the color scheme that Eler Beth has chosen for the baby. So I'm sure I'll be ordering more in the coming months. This is what came in today.

I have also already bought her the My Brest Friend nursing pillow that she wants (don't worry, she knows this so it isn't spoiling any surprise.) and I have already given her several items I saw and had to have at Carter's just before the reveal party. Melissa, her mother-in-law, has also been doing some shopping lol. We plan to spoil this baby girl royally!

  1. Buying baby stuff is SO much fun. I went crazy on my first grandson's register but his younger brother is now wearing his old clothes, so I'm lavishing my spending on my 15 month old grandson. There are so many adorable outfits!
